In 2013 I took a chance and started working with a friend, his wife, their dream, and a Kickstarter campaign that became wildly successful.

During that time, I got a taste of what it was like to be an entrepreneur and run a business fueled by passion, expertise, grit, late nights, and the willingness to take a chance on your dreams.

I immediately knew the entrepreneur path was for me.

I went back to college to earn my degree in Educational Psychology and taught myself all about building websites, online business operations, and marketing. The goal was to create my own online school for educators, but life had a completely different path for me.

THE DARK NIGHT OF THE SOUL

In March 2017, my husband suddenly passed away. Without warning, everything I knew about life and every goal and dream I had, died with him. Months of overwhelming grief led me to one defining moment. A moment I will never forget.

I was sitting on my coach, staring out the sliding glass door to the pool in my backyard. That not-so-crystal clear water gave me clarity. I had two choices: I could be swallowed up by the overwhelm and despair, or I could fight for my life.

So I launched my business melissaetherton.com and started working with certified high performance coaches, health & wellness coaches, physicians and therapists, authors and speakers. I specialized in Kajabi and WordPress building websites, online courses, membership sites, email and marketing campaigns, live seminars, online webinars, while focusing on systems, automation, and building teams.

Ultimately, I became a Virtual Business Manager managing multiple businesses for clients extending over long periods of time. I gained a huge amount of experience and expertise in creating and growing online businesses and successful marketing strategies.

THE SPIRITUAL AWAKENING

Through my journey of self-discovery, learning to cope with the dark nights of the soul, the emotional turmoil associated with complicated grief, my spiritual awakening, and the deep desire to find purpose in life, I have connected with my greatest calling.

Specializing in transformational feminine business, I integrate a heart-centered,
love-based approach to help women who help others ignite a lifestyle business that serves others AND is created around the support they need in their life. These women are seeking a more connected, aligned, and love-based, feminine way of
doing business.

MY SOULMATE CLIENTS

I speak with women all the time who are wanting to transform their greatest challenge, hardship, trauma, or life-changing experience into a business of transformation. They want to empower other women to do the same. They:

• seek a way to transform pain into purpose through entrepreneurship AND create financial independence while fulfilling their life mission,
• want to weave their gifts, talents, experiences, AND share their story of survival to catalyze transformation in others
• yearn to express their purpose and mission confidently AND ground their business practices in love, potential, possibility, growth, healing, grace, surrender, alignment, spiritual practices, awakening, and self-actualization
• want to create a business that enables them to show up in their full power AND supports their need for healing, consistent time off, and self-compassion

And I teach them how.

I teach women how to ignite change and turn their mission into a movement and that movement into money to live a life healed and fulfilled through entrepreneurship.

I work with authors, speakers, coaches, healers (physicians, chiropractors, counselors, therapists, wellness coaches), spiritual thought-leaders, visionaries, and other change-makers to create sustainable businesses that also serve a greater, global purpose.

In 2021, I launched my PassionPurpose Project, the20one.com. Our core value is "FREEDOM FROM ALL SUFFERING". 

Because how do we become free from all suffering? Through female empowerment!
